Job Title: Senior Sales Representative

 Job Purpose

The Senior Sales Representative should have 5+ years’ work experience in developing and maintaining sales opportunities in Shipping and/ or Logistics. The successful candidate would work alongside a professional team to develop sales in the area of Forwarding, Haulage, Warehousing, among others.

Sales Planning and Management

  • Identify new business opportunities by recognizing potential customers, researching and analyzing their sales options
  • Achieve set of KPIs including meeting sales targets, volumes
  • Engage in managing various tenders/ customers
  • Prepare Sales presentations, proposals, and contracts with pricing desk, as required
  • Research and propose suitable sales strategies for the various sales activities
  • Maintain existing customers efficiently and effectively
  • Produce new streams of revenue through ad-on sales
  • Maximize revenues from new opportunities and retain existing clients
  • Prepare daily Sales activity reports by collecting and analyzing information in a concise form
  • Identify product upgrades or new products by remaining up-to-date with industry trends, market activities, and competitors
  • Assist Finance team to recover outstanding money from customers, where required.
  • Guide the Junior Sales team, when required
  • Manage specific Key accounts
  • Coordinate between various departments and clients as per requirement
  • A demonstrated ability to multi-task, and desire to prospect and close new business
  • Be wary of market and competition trends
  • Produce management reports

Education

  • Minimum of five (5) years sales experience in Logistics or similar environment
  • A University degree preferably

Job Title: Junior Sales Executive

Job Purpose

The Junior Sales Executive would execute marketing/ sales plans and provide daily support to the senior sales team/ Supervisors.

Sales planning and management

  • Implement sales/ marketing programmes to boost sales and increase awareness of SIFAX brand and products
  • Execute daily tasks related to product and service promotions for assigned clientele
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams as per requirement
  • Assist in generating leads as at when required
  • Sourcing new customer accounts within assigned areas/ products
  • Initiate, develop, maintain and grow relationships with planned existing customer accounts and targeted new companies/contacts
  • Communicate one on one with potential customers
  • Act as a coordinator between clients and various department as when necessary
  • Assist the senior executives with quotes and other responsibilities as needed
  • Achieve set KPIs
  • Keen attention to details
  • Follow the guidelines and policies of the department and SIFAX Logistics
  • Be flexible to work on specific assignments as per management instructions

Experience and Education

  • Basic experience in Logistics or similar environment
  • Minimum of two (2) years relevant sales experience preferably in the Maritime industry
  • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Marketing or related discipline
