The Lagos Court of Arbitration (LCA), an international centre for arbitration and alternative dispute resolutions, has paid a courtesy visit to SIFAX Group on a sensitization mission.
The Executive Secretary/CEO, Mega Joshi, said the major reason for the visit was to intimate the company with its arbitration services and establish a business partnership that would help the company avoid prolonged litigations and legal conflicts in the course of its business.
Joshi said LCA is a privately-owned and independent institution with a mandate of addressing organizational disputes in order to ease the flow of businesses.
While welcoming the team, SIFAX Group Executive Director, HR & Admin., Dr. Phil Ofulue, thanked pledged that SIFAX group would support them in fulfilling their objectives.
In his own remarks, the General Manager, Legal/Claims, Barrister Tunji Olusinde, lauded the efforts of LCA, adding that the huge costs of litigation in Nigeria has made it imperative for businesses to seek alternative dispute resolution system.
Olusinde noted that SIFAX Group would engage with the team further to exploit all available opportunities for partnership.
